PADI Scuba Diving Courses - U-Dive, Eilat

Emergency First Response

7 באילת

This course is intended for all persons who would like to obtain a first aid certificate. It is not necessary to scuba dive in order to participate in this general course which teaches how to provide immediate care to victims from the start of the emergency until medical help arrives.

For divers, this training is necessary prior to qualification as a PADI Rescue Diver.

When faced with life's accidents, the EFR course will train your reflexes to recognize stages and priorities enabling you to provide primary or secondary medical care depending on the accident that has occurred and the nature of the emergency.

As primary care, we mean tending to the vital functions, i.e. evaluating the emergency situation and assessing the victim, applying artificial respiration and CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation), reacting to different wounds, and using the defibrillator and oxygen therapy equipment.

Secondary care corresponds to first aid and aims in assessing the injured or sick person and applying a bandage or splints for dislocations and fractures.

With the EFR certification, you acquire a first aid diploma recognized worldwide.  If you are interested in this type of training, you can enroll in the first aid for children course (see below: EFR Care for Children). For a diver, it also allows you to continue your training by permitting you to take the PADI Rescue Diver course.
