Scuba Diving Courses for Professionals - Eilat, Israel

Instructor Development Course

4 באילת

The PADI instructor training course – IDC (Instruction Development Course) – prepares you to become an Assistant Instructor or Open Water Scuba Instructor. It is intended for those who have already decided to take the professional track and have a solid knowledge of dive theory, experience as a guide or dive group leader, and a Rescue Diver certification, such as a PADI Divemaster.

The IDC allows you to apply your understanding of the PADI system as an educator and to better understand the educational philosophy developed by PADI. This course also teaches you what your role could be within the diving industry, how to contribute to its developments, and which opportunities the PADI market can offer you, especially if you are an instructor coming from another organization.

The IDC consists of the PADI Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) course. It is possible to complete it in one session or in two sessions: First the AI; then the OWSI.
The course is given by a Course Director, the highest qualification of recreational diving instruction, with the eventual assistance of the IDC Staff.

Once you have obtained your OWSI diploma, you may decide to continue your training and become a Specialty Instructor in order to be able to teach specialty courses.

Finally, under additional training conditions, you can continue your progress in the PADI system by acquiring the qualities of Master Scuba Diver Trainer, IDC Staff, then Master Instructor, and eventually Course Director.
